Training Courses:

RTS Training courses are based around the syllabus for the Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatment qualification (CSRT), and are especially suitable for those persuing this goal.

However, the courses also cover other practical details such as the measurment of moisture, use of moisture meters and otherpractical details which make them suitable for all those who have an interest in identifying dampness and timber infestation problems in buildings.

The dampness and timber infestation courses run over 2 days, the 1st day on dampness and the 2nd on timber infestation. either day however, can be booked separately.

'The Concise Guide to the Identification of Insect Attack and Fungal Decay of Timber' by G.R.Coleman

- a photographic and pictorial guide to the identification of insect and rot damage with basic descriptions on the major features to help identify the more common rots and wood-boring insect damage.
